In 1999,
K.Hovnanian Inc. started to build a development in
Freehold Twp, NJ called College Park. There are 296
homes in College Park, ranging in size from 2,400 Sq ft
to 3,600 sq ft. Some of the homes have a basement,
others have finished attic space. All homes are 2 story
colonials, with a 2 car garage and 4 or 5 bedrooms.
College Park is located west of Route 9 and north of
route 524 (Elton-Adelphia Rd), on both sides of Iron
Bridge Rd. College Park is west of Contempra / Monmouth
Heights.School children will attend Laura Donovan School (K-5) Clifton T
Barkalow School (6-8) and the Freehold Regional School District.
The
Freehold Regional High School District consists of 6 high
schools - Manalapan, Marlboro, Freehold Township, Freehold,
Howell and Colts Neck. Children usually attend the closest high
school - College Park students will attend Freehold Township
High School.
Each
of the six high schools has a specialized Learning Centers for
students who are highly motivated and talented. All students
from the region are eligible for enrollment, admission is
competitive. The curriculums at the Specialized Learning Centers

Howell - humanities, fine and performing arts academy

leadership development academy
At
all of the high schools, SAT scores consistently exceed state
and national averages, and more than 87 percent of the
district's students pursue higher education.
